Summer painting

Work in progress on an outdoor oil painting Crocosmia lucifer and Lyrebird. We bought the lyrebird (made of oxidised mild steel) as a garden ornament from the Ricketts Sanctuary in the Dandenongs outside of Melbourne. It cost a good deal more to ship home, and then there was a wrangle with UK customs. But worth it in the end.
